Chief Scientific Advisor
Padma Shri awardee and CSIR Bhatnagar Fellow, Dr. K. Thangaraj is a pioneering human geneticist whose landmark work spans Indian population genomics, ancient DNA, endogamy and disease genetics. His research has helped shape understanding of Indian population origins, South Asian founder effects and population-specific disease risk.

Leads Genomatics® technology vision, AI product strategy, software architecture and the productization of curated genomic knowledge into usable intelligence systems. At the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, she contributed to re-engineering the human genome annotation system, a backbone of Ensembl, and brings deep experience in genomics infrastructure, database systems, LIMS, complex software delivery and lifecycle management. A PMP-certified professional, she has led and delivered technology platforms across multiple domains.
